Course Overview

Emergency Paediatric First Aid

The qualification consists of one unit which learners must successfully complete to achieve the qualification.

A minimum of Level 1 literacy or equivalent is recommended. Reasonable adjustments for disabilities, medical conditions, or learning needs can be made per our Reasonable Adjustments and Special Consideration policy, such as assistance with reading or writing.

The first aid assessment is physically demanding. Learners must be able to get to the floor unaided and perform all required tasks, including effective CPR on a manikin at floor level. If you have any concerns, please contact your training provider before attending the course.

Our staff also actively engage in clinical shifts in both pre-hospital and in-hospital settings. This hands-on experience ensures that we remain at the forefront of clinical practice and are able to lead by example.
